Meet Pavel my newest baby

Introducing Pavel (PAW-vel) my newest baby boy 3 lbs. 8 ozs. and 16 inches long! He was formerly the Ltd. Ed.  "Brandon kit by the talented Tamie Yarie. This tiny prince has gorgeous Caucasian skin tones that were achieved using the brand new Ultimate Fusion Air dry Paints. Yes, I like to try new things. These paints very durable (I mean durable) and after the proper curing time, they are extremely difficult to remove! I am in love (with him too! 💋)!!! This little preemie which is what his name means in Russian (small) has 3/4 limbs, doe suede body, micro-rooted and hand rooted eyelashes with black alpaca baby soft hair by J's Premium Mohair, hand painted eyebrows, milia, veining, tummy plate, magnetic binky and more! Just sooooo sweet and easy to pose!!!

Hope that you like the new LOOK!

Hi! I so hope that you had a marvelous and blessed weekend.
I also hope that you like the new look? Just seemed time for a change, so I decided to take the plunge and just DOIT!

I have been rooting that melon head of Camelah Elaine (just keep breaking needles on it, not cool). I do believe that she's going to be simply adorable if I might say so myself. OK, I will. She's going to be simply a-d-o-r-a-b-l-e! LOL Then, I want to get started on the "tiny ones". I just can't wait! I have always said that I am a slow painting artist. I just like to complete the baby / babies that I am working on, giving them my total focus before going to the next unless they are special orders. I always have and I am thinkin...I always will.

I even attended my 45th class reunion, kinda under protest, but glad that I did go to the banquet. It was kinda fun, good seeing some people that I hadn't seen since high school! Why did we have a "roaring twenties" theme? I don't know...I still tried to participate in spite of it and those that didn't. (snickering) I will have to get pictures on here soon!

Got to see "Sister Trip" and I haven't laughed that much in years! It was just good and the cast was ALL STAR in my book any day! Needed a break from all of the mess that's going on. Had to take my little Diva to the vet 2 weeks ago, doing something that she really rarely does...excuse me, but puking. Then she has been literally gnawing on her paws at certain times (one in particular) and that I figured was allergy related especially after it rains and she walks in the grass. She chews her own nails, turns those little suckers into cat claws and I do find that amazing, painful, but amazing. Then I had noticed that she had started losing weight but, in her case it was good because she is my little pudjums! I even asked her if she was putting herself on a diet...did I get an answer, no not really. However, if looks could kill. All joking aside, she was scaring me. I mean I understand that she'll be 10 next April but I am looking to spend with her another 10, God willing. She has been my rock and my little furry guardian angel through it ALL. So off to the vet and 4 meds (all total later poor thing had a yeast infection in her ears and on her paws which included a bacterial infection. She's doing much, much better no more puking, still does some itching after walking in wet grass, but less intense. My GURL is in love with her bland diet of boiled "chic/rice pattays" that I have been feeding her.You would think that she was getting prime rib. Will be transitioning her back to her regular diet and I am seriously thinking of changing that . Her little bro-bro has been giving her moral support, except when he pooped on the floor of the vet hospital (another not cool moment in time).

Well, been up all night guess I do need to go to bed! Have a wonderful day and yak back at ya soon! Next time pictures too!

We've got Pictures!

I promised pictures of Melanie! Just to refresh your memory this was the "Crystal" (sculpt) by Denise Pratt now Melanie by Judie (Reborn)!

She's still a diamond in the rough, I have to do her eyelashes still! The little red velvet dress with matching bloomers and headband, as much as I liked it (when my sister brought it to me as very gently used, I didn't see) it has a small milk stain on the collar and I don't know if it will come out. Bummer! It was just sooo her and right for the holidays and in excellent shape (definitely a one time occasion)! Well, this being only test shots, she might have to go to a new party dress that I'm thinking about when it's all said and done.

Seems like Christmas in November for me!

It has been a busy month! I truly hope that everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving and didn't get too stuffed! We went to my sister's (me and my fur babies). I had a good time. I still miss my hubby being with me, but I will always believe that he was there in spirit. Now to get ready for Christmas. My neighbor's did theirs today, kinda forcing my hand. LOL...maybe tomorrow I will put up some decorations, maybe.

I have been shipping babies more than ever! Believe me when I say...NOT COMPLAINING!!! Sometimes you don't always get a message, so I send my babies with a signature release, then I know that they were delivered. It warms my heart when you actually get messages from adopting mommies. I like to add them to my website. An older set of micro-preemie twins went to two different mommies the same day even though I don't like the thought of separating them. At least they went the same day. It was nice that one liked one and the other liked her twin. Jazzie's mom is in love with her, but since this was regarding the twins, Tavis and Tavia, I wanted to share:
HI Judie!!!  I can't believe my babies arrived yesterday!!!  I would have written earlier but I haven't been able to take my eyes off of them :)
Thank you so much for getting them to me so quickly.. this is the best birthday present I have ever had and is fitting for my 60th birthday..ha
I can't begin to describe how I feel about them. They look so real and precious!! You are a very gifted artist.
I so miss working as a nurse in the NICU, but when I hold them and rock them I feel like smiling and feel so much love.
I could go on and on about how surprised I was when I opened the package and saw all the little gift wrapped pieces, each with their own special toy or stamp on them. The time you took to do all the special touches was not wasted. I have never in my life been so surprised.  Even the birth certificate pictures had their name on the picture with my last name. The foot prints on them were so sweet!!!!
So, I will never, ever, forget the wonderful experience of opening the box and seeing my precious babies with the very thoughtful special touches. Seriously Judie, it was a moment I will never forget.
Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!
I will take such good care of them and love them forever!
With much love,
Terry

I am working on two other babies now (Amy by  Sandy Faber a special project and Crystal by Denise Pratt for the nursery) they are in the final painting stages (YEAAAH) and I am so ready to root them. I have another memory baby to start on but I will be taking extra time because she's extra special. Yet, there are some babies ready and still looking for mommies! So don't forget to visit them on my website, because I need room for more! :o) Well back to work! Just wanted to touch bases!!! HUGS!!

Meet little Jazzie aka Candy

Well I finished Jazmyn over Felicia because of time constraints for the contest. She came out beautiful and I am working on her photo shoot now. Since she is the perfect little angel I made her the cutest little tutu outfit. I attached it to her onesie with wings! LOL I did make her look like she's crying even though she could be a happy baby, just seemed right. Well here's a preview of her new "look".

Yes, the front says "Angel"!
How do you like her wings? It's done in a beautiful teal tulle and with her chubby legs it is just too cute!

I micro-rooted her hair with my favorite brown/black hair from Deb of TNGUN. I just love it!

She has textured skin, pierced ears, veins and 3D eyebrows and...tears. Once I get all of her photos together, I will be back on Felicia and her blushing highlights and hope to complete her very soon!

Nadia really is coming along!

Finally got back to her but then disaster struck! My sister was bitten by her cat on her hand, they are fairly sure that he had Feline Leukemia he wasn't doing well and she's got several other cats. The bite got infected rather quickly and spread up her arm. That resulted in a 3 day hospital stay, but doing better now, him not so good he was euthanized.  If I had my druthers I'd rather be bitten by a dog than a cat, their little mouths harbor all sorts of bacteria. Although I have been bitten by a dog and my hands blew up like two Goodyear blimps, it didn't travel up my arms! Ahhhh, maybe not getting bit period would be the best thing. hahahaha

Then Nadia's limbs didn't fair very well in the bake off. Needless to say I really wasn't that fond of them anyway so maybe it was for the best or my subconscious, I didn't like her flat feet. LOL No matter I found the perfect limbs for her and I really have to admit that I like them much better! You will never guess who's limbs! They are BB "Joey" limbs I couldn't believe my luck. So I went back to work and she's got beautiful blue Masterpiece eyes "Stormy" that work so well with her bi-racial skin tones. I can't wait to start rooting her hair. I am going to use my "Black/brown" kid mohair from TNGUN for her. It has a slight wave to it so I think it will be really nice.

I promised updates:

No Pun intended!

Well officially but not official yet, I am excited to say that Paris is going to France, but she was looking soooo sad! LOL It was touch and go but I am really happy to say the girls won't be split up. They are going together! Their new mommy to be actually bid on Paris and won, but later communicated that she wanted her sister as well! I won't say that it's officially official until (LOL) I see da money! It's gonna be one heavy box with these girls! She has been communicating with me on numerous occasions so I think everything will turn out fine...eBay...now that's another story.
Well, in the end hope to have happy, happy news about them traveling to distant lands! Boy I bet my husband would have loved to hear that. This year I have covered the Ukraine, US, Canada and now France Truly I am glad that they get to go together. Now...just wait...

Seth on his way to the Ukraine!!!!

YEAAAAHHHHHHHH!!! I am just as excited as I am nervous! I got him on his way today with a small glitch, my own fault. Lesson learned NEVER EVER do anything that requires clear thought when you know that you are extremely tired / sleepy. LOL funny but not funny. No matter, off to the UKRAINE all bundled up nice and warm!

Almost finished Abra's head!!! I lovin it!!!  Got her eyebrows done and starting on Chane'l's head. I think that she's just going to be toooo pretty with this hair shade.

Happy New Year!!!

First I want to you to know that I wish you a very happy and blessed New Year! I didn't make any resolutions, don't want to have to worry about breaking them so I set goals. That is to take my time working on my babies and not pressure myself into worrying about how many I should have done or could have done, just focus on the ones I am doing.

We went to see Django yesterday and it was the bomb! Also I was given a beautiful classical guitar to add to my collection of acustics. Re-strung it, not an easy task, but I dude it! Definitely won't be doing tie-in strings! WHEW!! LOL

I am so happy to announce that Seth has a new Mommy and he's going to the Ukraine!!!!! He's been paid for and I am getting him ready and warmly wrapped for travel! I think it might be really cold there...never been there. I know that she will love him, he's just adorable and I am going to miss him, but I know that he's going to a beautiful place!! Now to find the rest of the gang homes!!!

I have just about completed Abra's rooting (have to update her pictures) and Chane'l is next in line! I just love how her skin tones turned out! A gorgeous honey brown. Funny, I can't seem to upload photos from my puter for some strange reason now. So I will have to upload I guess to picasa. UGH!!! Finally figured out how to get them into my picasa picture book! LMAO Here's little Chane'l  making progress!

Ain't she purtee, she's only going to get better! Well got to do some photo updating, eyebrows and get busy rooting on these heads! I can't wait to use this Brown / Black on Chane'l!!!

BABY update

Went from warm to extremely windy and bitter cold here. LeLei got to see his first snow and didn't quite know what to make of it, too funny, but he quickly adjusted and Delylah (being a pro) could care less. Now it's melted, still cold and it's winter!

Well we are about to wrap this year up. Seems it went by soooo soon! I felt like I had just put up the Christmas lights from last year and it was time to get them out again. And yes again, it took everything I had to do them. It's just not the same anymore without him. I guess that it's because it was our favorite time of the year, now it just seems like another day. Then with all of the tragedies that have happened. I just don't know, people killing babies just doesn't sit well with me. To cheer me up my fav cousin sent me a beautiful poinsettia. It's so big it looks like a tree and I'm not good with these things (bummer). It's just good to have family and friends to be with during this time, but that isn't what I came here to talk to you about. Its been running through my mind, regardless, I am trying to keep an upbeat post going on here.

So stay on track Judie, stay on track! I came to show you updates on the girls. Here they are together Abra (L) and Presley Dawn. You can see the difference in their skin tones that way too!

Presley has eyelashes now. I did her hair with Slumberland mohair. Abra is still WIP but she's being done with TNGUN mohair and I have to say it but I really do like it better. Maybe because it's "kid" cut, that being the first haircut on the young goat, it's more "baby"? I don't know, but all that I've gotten from her, it simply seems softer. Now don't get me wrong I do love Slumberland's hair, but you know we all have our favs! :o)

Abra is just about completed in the front, it's wet, but I still wanted to take her pic to show you. I just love how her skin tones came out! I'm thinking more peaches n' cream? She has "flash face" from my Cphone camera, so on the next one so she looks a lot lighter than she is.

Both of them have glass eyes. I just love the little pouty mouth on Abra and I think that she has more of a fat baby look in comparison! I can't wait to start dressing them. Doesn't look like a Christmas birthday for them.

No Presley's Lashes aren't super long. It's just the way that I angled the camera at her head so that you could see how delicate looking they are! She has such dreamy eyes don't you think? I guess that you can see her little stark bite! I made Presley Dawn a little nose scratch too, thought about doing one on her cheek but that seemed like over-kill after I thought about it (before doing it, thank God), had to clip her nails so that she won't do it again. Why do babies always end up with some kind of booboo right before a holiday picture? LOL

Can you see her lashes? Sorry about the blurry pictures, as I said, took these on my cellphone while I was working on Abra so they are not the best at the moment but you can at least see how they are progressing!

All trimmed up, she's going to sport the short wispy style and Abra will have curly hair or at least it can be styled to be curly! I'm going over her for a final inspection before she comes all together, so to speak. At this point they will be my first babies of the New Year for certain! Cooking for Christmas again. With that being said...

I just hope that everyone has a wonderful Christmas and a very blessed New "2013" if I don't get to post before!

Getting busy

I got another guitar...still don't know how to play very well lol but I like it a lot! Still taking lessons and each time I learn a little more. Not bad for my age! It's a Ibanez V70CE Acoustic-Electric Guitar in transparent blue. Just gorgeous! Even though it's brand new I had new strings put on, because they don't hurt my fingers as bad. Ohhh, it's a Christmas present to myself. Now I have 3 guitars! My Fender, that I bought last year as my BD present to myself and my very oooooold (probably older than you) unknown maker except that it is Japanese made guitar.

Happy days!!! I am not big on politics and have to admit that I am glad that all of the election hoopla is over for the most part. I was not happy about the phone calls on my land line or cellphone, a major turn off, but not a voting deterent by any means. So that's my take on that!!!

I am starting on my next 2 babies from DD's, Jolina by Manuela Muth with open eyes is about 18 - 19 inches long.

I am going to do this one as caucasian and Madeleine by Birgit Gutzwiller with closed eyes is going to be AA and 20 inches long.
They've had their baths and I just have to decide which skin tones I want to go with! LOL I am sure I am leaning towards a honey color for Madeleine, but if I can get darker...who knows! I am doing some experimenting with a different type of thinner so it's going to be interesting. I am definitely going to root with my dark brown from TNGUN and leaning towards brown from Slumberland Nursery for the other. I love these little faces and I know that they are going to be just too adorable!

Once again, I'm re-grouping...that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it!

Well, here's the story long version short. After me being a nervous wreck, Lil D had surgery done to her knee and they repaired the meniscus, cartiledge and the ligament. They shaved off the entire leg and half her "bootiebangs". That is going to look weird for a little while, ya think! Her birthday was the next day, what a birthday present! lolrotf All joking aside my poor baby was in a lot of pain and had a lot of swelling. So between drugs and cold packs I'd like to think that her discomfort level has been kept to a minimum. She only has 5 sutures but it looks like a total knee LOL (for such a little leg). She'll get them out next week and will be on "lockdown" looks like till July for complete healing. So she gets to walk enough to go potty, lost 1 lb. and she's getting back to her much missed personality. She loves riding in her stroller which has been a blessing to me and she is doing very well! This was on her birthday and the day after surgery.

Now I can get back to business. I guess with the rain, we went to sleep a little too early and I am wide awake! Which is good, I can show you that I have been productive as I could be. I have redone my website and I LOVE IT! Natalie has done an awesome job once again! I have one more page to setup with my MP eyes and baby items and it'll be completed! YEAAAAAHHHH!!! You just gotta see to appreciate and don't forget to sign my guestbook! Here's my link:

www.loveisforevernursery.com

Little Jai-Li is soooo cute! She is almost ready for a birthday. Between her and Seth, I had hoped to have at least one of them done by Easter we shall see. Anyhooo, I used TNGUN hair for her and it's just soooo baby soft and worked beautifully for her!

I did complete her little custom outfits and got them pressed out. Excuse the pins, they are finished just haven't done update pics with all that was happening. I will show you how cute she's going to look! Sorry it's just a tease! LOL This is her little Chinese robe set:
and this is her other little Suit "traditional"  Chinese knot  button closures with Mandarin neckline integrated with a little western touch that I know her new mommy will just love!

Lil D's progress...

Working off and on on Seth's head (that name may change). Kinda helps me get my mind off of my baby. Lil D's progress...or lack of. Well it's been a week. She's gotten a little of her sweet personality back but she's not showing any improvement as far as her knee is concerned. Seems like she's a candidate for a very expensive knee surgery. They don't want to wait more than a month and I don't see what good waiting will do. I can't stand watching her hopping around, although she's handling it better than I am. Just means a much longer convalescence for her to still end up needing the surgery. I'm just not feeling that. So I stay still so that she stays still, her appetite is all that great, but has a positive note. She's a little overweight so short of not making herself sick, would take some of the pressure off of her other knee, by the way can be affected due to her over compensating. So, back to relieving my stress and watching Seth's hair really starting to take shape beautifully.

From my heart to yours... Hugs, Judie

Progress..

Well I've kept her quiet as possible. Still not weight bearing after 24 hours but I hope that is a plus, I wish for her to heal slowly and completely. The less she trys to use her little leg the better, I'll have to report to her vet next Monday either way! Just hope surgery is not required!! Did I say that already? Poor baby she is getting a little more back to herself, probably the drugs! Anti-inflamatory and pain medication, lets say she's doing a lot more sleeping. I also think that she is eating up the fact that she's getting carried around a lot! LOL

Now I can get started back on rooting my Lex. I just can't wait to see how his hair is going to turn out too! Still have to do nails on both babies and make Jai Li's special little outfit. I was looking at the material last night! I think she's going to be sooooo what shall we say? Oriental! LOLROTF

Jai Li's progress...

Photobucket

Progress!!!!

Well, well, well she's got her eyelashes after all! Yeahhhh and they were just the right size! I didn't want to overwhelm her eyes with ones that would be too big. I think these are just perfect! Then I took her a step further, I micro-rooted her eyebrows with Suri alpaca. I like the texture because this alpaca is truly baby fine and I think they worked out perfectly, they look so delicate, much better than mohair or human which is much too coarse for infant brows. Just the same I think that it builds even more character when you can carry realism one step further.

Seth is coming along nicely, he'll have updates soon!

W.I.P.

Catching up once again ! LOL

I am working on Lex by Natali Blick and Jiao by Andrie Stoete now known as Seth and Jai Li (Jah-Lee) which means good and beautiful in Chinese. Yes, I am actually working on 2 babies at one time! Both will have brown eyes of course and dark brown hair. One's a boy and the other a girl! That helped immensely! Jai Li's hair looks almost black it's so pretty and a rich soft dark brown. Seth will be micro-rooted with Slumberland hair in deep dark brown. Jai Li's hair will be dark, dark brown from TNGUN and she is looking awesome. I am using a #46 and you better go slow, even though they say that they are extra strength, I have broken quite a few needles, but I love the results so far! It will be worth it, they are coming along beautiful!
Preview:
Seth:

Isn't that the cutest little raspberry!!!
I love how his skin tones are coming out!

Jai Li

Although to me on here the look pretty much the same color in these photos I assure you that they are not. Both have very, very thin layers and layers of GHSPs. With her, I didn't want a lot of yellow undertones. Asians have a wide range of coloring. I do love how her coloring is coming out as well. I am debating on if she will have eyelashe are not. She has those tight little hooded eyes that may be over-whelmed if I don't do it right. Seth with very natural looking darker Caucasion undertones is really a cutie too! I can't wait to see him with his eyelashes. I am hoping for dreamy eyes! I think that you will really enjoy their photo shoots when they are ready! I have got some ideas for Jai Li that I am biting at the bit to do!

Taraji a baby of faith

As you will see that I have an affinity for reborning these little ones! I have been working diligently on a new micro-preemie for someone special. This baby is straight from my heart and holds monumental sentiment. I still have a few little details to finish but I just about have her done.
I have reborn Bountiful Baby's Taite by Denise Farmer and I think that she has evolved into an adorable little AA baby. Meet Taraji! Her name is Swahili for "Faith". I will explain the significance of that a little later:

Tummy plate, 3/4 limbed micro-preemie.

I did something totally different. She has hand painted hair!!! I micro rooted her eyelashes!

Added a magnetic bow and pacifier, I am so pleased with her skin tones as well!!!

I am almost finished with her christening gown and when it's done I will post those pics too!

From my heart to yours... Hugs, Judie
