It has been a busy month! I truly hope that everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving and didn't get too stuffed! We went to my sister's (me and my fur babies). I had a good time. I still miss my hubby being with me, but I will always believe that he was there in spirit. Now to get ready for Christmas. My neighbor's did theirs today, kinda forcing my hand. LOL...maybe tomorrow I will put up some decorations, maybe.
I have been shipping babies more than ever! Believe me when I say...NOT COMPLAINING!!! Sometimes you don't always get a message, so I send my babies with a signature release, then I know that they were delivered. It warms my heart when you actually get messages from adopting mommies. I like to add them to my website. An older set of micro-preemie twins went to two different mommies the same day even though I don't like the thought of separating them. At least they went the same day. It was nice that one liked one and the other liked her twin. Jazzie's mom is in love with her, but since this was regarding the twins, Tavis and Tavia, I wanted to share:
HI Judie!!! I can't believe my babies arrived yesterday!!! I would have
written earlier but I haven't been able to take my eyes off of them :)
Thank
you so much for getting them to me so quickly.. this is the best birthday
present I have ever had and is fitting for my 60th birthday..ha
I can't begin
to describe how I feel about them. They look so real and precious!! You are a
very gifted artist.
I so miss working as a nurse in the NICU, but when I hold
them and rock them I feel like smiling and feel so much love.
I could go on
and on about how surprised I was when I opened the package and saw all the
little gift wrapped pieces, each with their own special toy or stamp on them.
The time you took to do all the special touches was not wasted. I have never in
my life been so surprised. Even the birth certificate pictures had their name
on the picture with my last name. The foot prints on them were so sweet!!!!
So, I will never, ever, forget the wonderful experience of opening the box
and seeing my precious babies with the very thoughtful special touches.
Seriously Judie, it was a moment I will never forget.
Thank you, thank you,
thank you!!!
I will take such good care of them and love them
forever!
With much love,
Terry
I am working on two other babies now (Amy by Sandy Faber a special project and Crystal by Denise Pratt for the nursery) they are in the final painting stages (YEAAAH) and I am so ready to root them. I have another memory baby to start on but I will be taking extra time because she's extra special. Yet, there are some babies ready and still looking for mommies! So don't forget to visit them on my website, because I need room for more! :o) Well back to work! Just wanted to touch bases!!! HUGS!!
From my heart to yours...
Hugs,
Judie

Another Year almost gone!
Well another month almost gone and I made another birthday, thank God! I have been into a mired of things! Home repairs, guitar classes, dentist (had to have a tooth pulled to save another tooth), bead looming, still dealing with the loss of my BFF (hubby was buried on my birthday), updating my website and dolly work! Just trying to keep my mind occupied. I just shipped off one of my PeaWee's to Germany, Shania! Yeah!!! Jazzie is in the adoption process and I did another PeaWee; a micro-preemie boy (10") named Darius Alan. LOL I haven't done his portfolio as yet, but he's anatomically correct (tummy plate), he's got "RoPan" hair! Bet I got ya going there! What is RoPan? He has painted hair and I have rooted the crown, okay so I am experimenting, but for him I think it's too adorable. He's a Marita Winters sculpt aka "Katie". Just as cute as a little button! I had to make his little romper and diaper set so that he'd have something to wear. I finished those this morning. He's got a little basket bed that I am working on and then I still have to finish Melanie aka Crystal sculpt. I don't know what it is about her, but she seems to keep ending up on the back burner! She will get done...just don't know when? LOL
Oh, have a HAPPY HOLLOWEEN!!!
I will have pics of Darius Alan soon!

The day or so after Christmas...
Well, I cooked all day Christmas eve and my back was killing me! LOL I just didn't want to do it all on Christmas. Glad I didn't, I made it through, think I got carried away though. We had too much food but I wanted to be sure it was enough. Ham, Chicken with dressing, Talapia, duck, pulled beef and pork, greens, green beans with sausage and mushrooms, mac and cheese, hors d'avors (:o) and other desserts. Family came over and it was a very nice day and everything turned out well. We pulled for gifts which was wonderful for me, I wasn't in a shopping mood for presents. We played games and I felt better but still, I knew someone was missing and nobody mentions him. I have my new saying that when I get really low, I say to myself I am lonely, but I am not alone". I have read two of my five books on working through grief and they have helped me realize that I am not going crazy. I am different and I will never be the same. I still long for him (my hubby) but I also understand that he is so much better off, no pain, no suffering and no being stuck with needles or dealing with aching bones to keep him up at night. Still...
For you animal (fur kid) lovers
Since I didn't do it last Christmas for obvious reasons I wanted to share Lil D opening her own Christmas. I did it year before, when we didn't think or know that she would do it to our surprise. So I gave her, her gift and sure enough, well see for yourself!
