We've got Pictures!

I promised pictures of Melanie! Just to refresh your memory this was the "Crystal" (sculpt) by Denise Pratt now Melanie by Judie (Reborn)!

She's still a diamond in the rough, I have to do her eyelashes still! The little red velvet dress with matching bloomers and headband, as much as I liked it (when my sister brought it to me as very gently used, I didn't see) it has a small milk stain on the collar and I don't know if it will come out. Bummer! It was just sooo her and right for the holidays and in excellent shape (definitely a one time occasion)! Well, this being only test shots, she might have to go to a new party dress that I'm thinking about when it's all said and done.

Bridgette gets her new outfit!

As promised Bridgette got her new "Bonny" sailor outfit by "Mykidstudio" that was selected just for her and it looks like it was made just for her! It is even cuter in real life and they shipped fast!

she is such a little show-off!

The outfit looks like cotton in the photos but it's more like a sateen polyester

The six gold double breasted buttons just set it off! I love that big front bow, puff sleeves and back ties with navy blue strip accents. It is just simply ADORABLE! The tam has little white ribbon tails on the back, but I will have to show you those details at a later date! I couldn't resist adding the little patent leather shoes with bow ties and her little lace trimmed socks with bow accents. She is on her way to be a part of the photographer Jamie Diamond's "Amy Reborn Project in New York" for two weeks! I am so excited about being able to be included! Can't wait to see what Jamie does with her photos and I can't wait for Bridgette to return!

Well still have a bit to go on Melanie's head. It's going to be interesting because I am experimenting, I decided to mix hair fibers. That's all I am going to say about that. Ha-ha and hope the joke's not on me!

One down, one to go!

I finally got Bridgette's hair all rooted and she's all girl! She is the so adorable Amy kit by Jannie de Lange. Here's a sneak peak of her! It was hard finding a paci that would work for her, she has such chubby cheeks!
She hasn't been very happy since she got her ears pierced! LOL

I ordered her a special little outfit and then she'll be off for a special project and return ready for adoption!

I am working hard at getting the rest of Melanie's hair rooted. I hope to have her completed before the week is out, so you can see her!

I just got my "Sally" kit by Bonnie Brown. I just gave her a bubble bath...hummm, just to cute how those ears stick out!! LOL Gotta get back to work!!

Felicia is going home for Christmas!

I just had to come back and share the good news! Felicia Renae' (Nicky sculpt by Jackie Gwin) my little two toothed toddler has been officially adopted and is all ready to be shipped out Monday to Virginia!

From my heart to yours... Hugs, Judie www.loveisforevernursery.com

Is it Possible?

AA toddler Felecia Renae' may very well be getting a mommy for Christmas!!!! YEAHHHHH! She just adopted little 6" Hailee and decided that Hailee needed a sister. I am waiting with baited breath! LOL Nuri reached his destination and is now known as Nicci! Still need mommies for Abra, Chane'l, Ayashe (Landon) and Pressli Dawn. I have faith!

We had some nice weather so I put up a few lights, just seemed like I couldn't break the neighborhood tradition, especially since my neighbor across the street started putting up lights too! Their children are grown now...they didn't put up outdoor lights before...hummm. Oh well better late than never. We were supposed to be in for some bad weather...yep, barely got a 1/2 inch of snow, but it made the lights look pretty. Weathermen...KWIM

Then I had to remove my newly installed floor under the sink, I was so despondent. I just re-did it about a month or two ago from the garbage disposal leaking. However, this time it's on me. I think water seeped under the sink when I was giving the pups a bath. They have their own bath tub but if it moves wrong it tips. Nothing more to say on that. Just had to take it all back up, it was getting that mildewed odor again and I can't stand to smell it. This time...contact paper! Jeeze Louweez!!

I have to do some update pics of Melanie / Crystal and Bridgette / Amy. I am rooting Bridgette's big head LOL almost finished so that I can start on Melanie's. I love how both of their skin tones turned out. I got a new Nikon 35mm lenses for extreme close up so I am biting at the bit to take some shots! Well, hair first, pictures next. :o) Back to work~

Seems like Christmas in November for me!

It has been a busy month! I truly hope that everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving and didn't get too stuffed! We went to my sister's (me and my fur babies). I had a good time. I still miss my hubby being with me, but I will always believe that he was there in spirit. Now to get ready for Christmas. My neighbor's did theirs today, kinda forcing my hand. LOL...maybe tomorrow I will put up some decorations, maybe.

I have been shipping babies more than ever! Believe me when I say...NOT COMPLAINING!!! Sometimes you don't always get a message, so I send my babies with a signature release, then I know that they were delivered. It warms my heart when you actually get messages from adopting mommies. I like to add them to my website. An older set of micro-preemie twins went to two different mommies the same day even though I don't like the thought of separating them. At least they went the same day. It was nice that one liked one and the other liked her twin. Jazzie's mom is in love with her, but since this was regarding the twins, Tavis and Tavia, I wanted to share:
HI Judie!!!  I can't believe my babies arrived yesterday!!!  I would have written earlier but I haven't been able to take my eyes off of them :)
Thank you so much for getting them to me so quickly.. this is the best birthday present I have ever had and is fitting for my 60th birthday..ha
I can't begin to describe how I feel about them. They look so real and precious!! You are a very gifted artist.
I so miss working as a nurse in the NICU, but when I hold them and rock them I feel like smiling and feel so much love.
I could go on and on about how surprised I was when I opened the package and saw all the little gift wrapped pieces, each with their own special toy or stamp on them. The time you took to do all the special touches was not wasted. I have never in my life been so surprised.  Even the birth certificate pictures had their name on the picture with my last name. The foot prints on them were so sweet!!!!
So, I will never, ever, forget the wonderful experience of opening the box and seeing my precious babies with the very thoughtful special touches. Seriously Judie, it was a moment I will never forget.
Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!
I will take such good care of them and love them forever!
With much love,
Terry

I am working on two other babies now (Amy by  Sandy Faber a special project and Crystal by Denise Pratt for the nursery) they are in the final painting stages (YEAAAH) and I am so ready to root them. I have another memory baby to start on but I will be taking extra time because she's extra special. Yet, there are some babies ready and still looking for mommies! So don't forget to visit them on my website, because I need room for more! :o) Well back to work! Just wanted to touch bases!!! HUGS!!

micro-preemie Daris Alan

I promised pictures and I think that I have some good ones of little Darius Alan!

I was aiming for the skin tone of this little cutie ~ still haven't perfected it yet, but one DAY!
well this is as far as I could get. What do I mean by that...the paint kept slipping even after heating, just about drove me nuts, because he's so cute I kept going! It's not perfect but, meet Darius Alan anyway~

Now you can see him with RoPan hair! LOL

I made his little "bunny" onesie, his little take me home outfit matching

diaper pants, tee-shirt, cover shirt and "no scratch" mitts and crib hat. That's his puppy "Woofy" beside him!
Here he is with his matching crib cap and tiny little bowtie bib....just about make you go blind working on these teenie tiny little outfits, but I LOVE making them! I even made him some teenie tiny leg warmers! LOL I wish I could knit or crochet but I can't, so I found a little knit outfit that I had and it was perfect for him.

Ohh and he's a thumb sucker too!

Hope that you enjoy him!

Another Year almost gone!

Well another month almost gone and I made another birthday, thank God! I have been into a mired of things! Home repairs, guitar classes, dentist (had to have a tooth pulled to save another tooth), bead looming, still dealing with the loss of my BFF (hubby was buried on my birthday), updating my website and dolly work! Just trying to keep my mind occupied. I just shipped off one of my PeaWee's to Germany, Shania! Yeah!!! Jazzie is in the adoption process and I did another PeaWee; a micro-preemie boy (10") named Darius Alan. LOL I haven't done his portfolio as yet, but he's anatomically correct (tummy plate), he's got "RoPan" hair! Bet I got ya going there! What is RoPan? He has painted hair and I have rooted the crown, okay so I am experimenting, but for him I think it's too adorable. He's a Marita Winters sculpt aka "Katie". Just as cute as a little button! I had to make his little romper and diaper set so that he'd have something to wear. I finished those this morning. He's got a little basket bed that I am working on and then I still have to finish Melanie aka Crystal sculpt. I don't know what it is about her, but she seems to keep ending up on the back burner! She will get done...just don't know when? LOL

Oh, have a HAPPY HOLLOWEEN!!!
I will have pics of Darius Alan soon!

Hope you like her...

Ayashe (little one) in Native American Indian

To keep my mind busy I have worked on several projects at one time. Moving little rocks around in the yard then Saphira was the next one, Melanie aka Crystal by Denise Pratt and last but not least Ayashe aka Landon by Tamie Yarie. Well, no longer a good multitasker I finished the hardest first, that being Saphira, then moving rocks, planting another boxwood bush and laying mulch. I was happy about this, I beat the rain. I am now working on Ayashe's photo shoot because I think she held my interest more than poor little Melanie and I thought that I would never get that little head rooted! Also, she was the next hardest, you will see why soon! Even though little Melanie was first on the list she managed to take a back seat in all of this again. LOL Not to worry, she is in the oven and waiting to bake some more of her layers. She's not been forgotten.

So here's a sneak peek at Ayashe (Landon by Tamie Yarie) a sweet little preemie Indian baby girl.

She has beautiful cinnamon skin tones, Adorable features that were emphasized by giving her textured skin, 3D eyebrows and hand painted fine baby hair. She's micro-rooted with black/brown kid mohair from TNGUN that is super soft, eyelashes are hand rooted and no detail has been missed. We know that Tamie is wonderful for detailing her sculpts! I left her nose intact (rarely do I do this) and she has a sweet little tummy plate that fits perfectly with her little 17 inch body, full legs with 3/4 arms and magnetic binky. Mentioning body her body was customized just for this sculpt! She is a Ltd. Ed. 196/800.  I love how she turned out, but back to more shooting, as you can see, she is very photogenic!

You'll never guess...

This isn't a good month for me, so I throw myself into multiple projects because I can't multitask (thinking and working) at the same time. To make matters worse, they say it comes in 3's and I have had that in the last 2 days! One was a very wonderful cousin by marriage that passed and another was just a little baby, then my niece lost her half sister. I've had enough of bad news. Our 27th anniversary would have been tomorrow and the love of my life will be gone for 3 years the 25th. Time just seems to stand still for me, sometimes it seems like 3 months and then again 3 days then it seems like forever. I am improving, but my heart is still broken, I think that it will always be that way. You have your good moments, your up moments and even a few great moments, but that one memory pops in your head for some reason and you go rolling back down the hill. Thank God, it gets a little easier each time to pick yourself back up, it's slow but I can stand. With that being said.
You'll never guess what I've been up to! However, I'm just going to tease you with it! Yes, she's watching you...

Jai Lin has been Adopted!

I was so excited to see Jai Lin get adopted! I have babies everywhere! They definitely need to find new homes, so I can do more! LOL I will be happily shipping her off on Friday!

I have been so busy working on my 3 projects however I am happy to say that I am starting to see the light! My mystery baby is really turning out well. It has been an arduous task because I was developing her as I went along, if that makes sense. She shocked me, if I may say so. A lot of work, so she will definitely be OOAK babies, that's for sure! The other baby is being rooted and the third which was actually supposed to be first needs a few more layers and she will be having the same treatment finally~.

Well back to work, just had to pop in and give updates!

Jazmyn on eBay and see my latest secret project

Well I have Jazzie on eBay and I hope that she finds her forever home! I really think that she has so much personality, but then I guess that's just my opinion. She just didn't seem to make the grade. LOL

I am now working on two sculpts one is Crystal / Melanie by Denise Pratt and the other which has me so excited is Landon by Tammie Yarie. I am doing something totally different with this one so I won't be posting updates until she is completed as "Ayashe" which is Native American Cheyenne or Chippewa for "little one". Hint, hint... LOL

Felicia FINALLY! LOL

It took a WHILE, but I finally got her parts to match! It took so many layers, washes and time that I didn't even try to write it down, thank God that I didn't have to re-root her too!

I have redone this little girl several times and was never happy since I first did her skin tones with the air dry paints only because she wouldn't fit in my little convection oven. Yes, I have a bigger one now and I haven't used air dry paints since. LOL! Now mind you she came out perfect (as far as I was concerned) with a beautiful coffee and cream skin color (even with the stress that I was very much under, that being, the loss of my husband). However, after months of curing, I found that the paint DID NOT adhere like it should all quite by accident and to my dismay. At that point you were told not to apply any Genesis sealers over your "air drys", because they didn't think it would work well with their paints. So I stripped her for the first time. It seemed logical that they should know their product. But, Genesis is not a true oil based paint and she was ruined! Grrrrr I wanted to cry and rip my hair out, but I didn't. I just stepped away from the curve so to speak I already knew that that would be a lot less painful! Now, long story short, I stripped and stripped and stripped and stripped. Every attempt she was too red or the paint just didn't look right. I left her for dead well over a year (sarcasm) because I was so disgusted. I finally decided it's a new year, how about another try?

She has more of a chocolate skin tone than I went for but I don't care! It's fine with me, because she still looked cute with her little tooth buds! LOL She's back to her adorable self and I am finally as happy as I am going to get!

Meet little Ms. Felicia Renae'!!!

I hope that you can see why all of the agony! LOL If not...taken outdoors / partial sun
Just look at that face and I loved how her hair rooted, it is so versatile, I just couldn't let it go!
So there you have it and now we have:
Now for her to find her forever mommy!

Meet little Jazzie aka Candy

Well I finished Jazmyn over Felicia because of time constraints for the contest. She came out beautiful and I am working on her photo shoot now. Since she is the perfect little angel I made her the cutest little tutu outfit. I attached it to her onesie with wings! LOL I did make her look like she's crying even though she could be a happy baby, just seemed right. Well here's a preview of her new "look".

Yes, the front says "Angel"!
How do you like her wings? It's done in a beautiful teal tulle and with her chubby legs it is just too cute!

I micro-rooted her hair with my favorite brown/black hair from Deb of TNGUN. I just love it!

She has textured skin, pierced ears, veins and 3D eyebrows and...tears. Once I get all of her photos together, I will be back on Felicia and her blushing highlights and hope to complete her very soon!
