Catch up time!

I'll just say hello, it's been a while! I just don't know where the time goes! So, I'll just have to catch you up again. I just don't know where to begin. Well, I have been working on babies, some fantasy and others regular reborn.

This kit is "Empram" by Melody Hess. This little  girl stole my ❤️! She is truly gorgeous and accepts a real pacifier! I love her detail and those lips are just so kissable...mentioning kiss...

Don't ask why, but I had an epiphany as to "what would Gene Simmons look like as a baby"? Here's my vision! I really had to work with this one. I hand sculpted his tongue and took forever to get his face done not to mention his tongue in. Gene S was a retired and the long ago  "Lillian kit" by Antonio Juan.

He was rockin and definitely a hit at the show...I even bought him a mini bass guitar for the show!

So why did he have to come home with me? LOL

Now this little beauty is my albino werepup "Babita"- she's the Lucian Hybrid by Simon Laurens and she has her own little snuggle bed and friend.

She was another time consuming little hit! She even has a wolf pup howl (it's a small 10 sec recording that's removable). I feel in love with her, almost bought another kit at the show then came to my senses! 😵😲😉 I got the "Tinky" Manor Elf kit instead...I'll try just about anything in a kit at least once.

Wichita Kansas Doll Show 2019

It has been a wild few months and yes still here! I finally accepted the fact that I cannot do everything...thereby not getting something done. Moving forward, did another Wichita Kansas Doll Show and it was even better than the last! Saw some old friends and met new ones!

my little fugly contest baby. I am seriously thinking of making him an AA baby. I just couldn't connect to him. He seemed quite content with big eyebrows ( I redid them 4 times that I can remember and they always came out the same...go figure) 😖😂😂😂😂 I'll have to add the photo where he's in his competition outfit, they were adorable. The contest was really set up nice, didn't actually get to see the babies close up, but the pictures shared showed some beautiful babies for sure!

I also have my online store up and running! It was a bit hair raising but "I got er done"!

made them their own modified ultrasound too

The girls have anatomically correct tummy plates and Jon has half tummy plate and an anatomically custom soft body. Custom made "dried" umbilical cords.

They all have chocolate caramel skin tones, mottling, veining and dry skin effect achieved with Miracle Blend Air Dry Paints. They are micro rooted with "beautiful baby soft kid black mohair" from (TNGUN Debbie Henshaw) with hand applied Lanugo facial hair and birthmarks on their tummies!

The girls have pierced ears Jada (pearl) Jasmine (silver) and all have magnetic pacifiers

Their skin is sealed with Final step Reborn FX matte sealer.

I am so happy excited with them, that I built them a "prop triple stroller" that now really works for them, it folds down for easy transportation! I ended up doing a little modifying on the base and switched to much lighter wheels (not pictured) of which I am much happier with! So, here they are!

First off, I want to wish you a very happy New Year! 2018 wasn't a truly wonderful year, but I feel blessed that I am in my right mind,a roof over my head. I know it's been a while. Thanking God that the GSD has finally ended! I had to check in and say that I'm still here.
I've been working on and learning "Square"and setting up my new website store and it was a headache for sure! Also started on new babies for the year and the next show and hoping to find homes for the older ones soon. My older sister started out her new year badly, feel down a basement step and busted up her femur bone, luckily not her driving leg. All is well, and she is slowly on the mend and making progress.
I've also been trying out new air dry paints by Ultimate Fusion. I like trying new air dry paints designed for the reborn artist and these paints are pretty good. I really loved BabyFX and these paints remind me of them. I still love the Miracle Blend and it seems the same problem has shown its ugly face. 😟Seems every time I fall in love with a particular paint that they stop making it. LOL
