I promised pictures and I have delivered!

Okay, no pun intended! After rooting and rooting and rooting, I finally finished Nadia. Still as I worked there was something that just didn't grab me. Then it hit me!

Surprise, surprise about Nadia....

Nadia is a BOY!!! I guess the ultrasound was a little off!  LOLROTF Well you will see!

micro-rooted with TNGUN's mohair

Made an absolutely adorable little boy!!! As you can see I am having a ball photographing him. Poor little thing has no real chin to speak of but he's still very photogenic!

Well of course I had to come up with a new name for "him" since Nadia is a girl's name that meant hope. Meet Nuri  (pronounced NOOR-ee) which means "light". I think that it fits him very well with his bi-racial skin tones and I just love the "Joey" limbs on him. So the moral of this story is everything happens for a reason! LOL

Now off to root the twins!

Nadia really is coming along!

Finally got back to her but then disaster struck! My sister was bitten by her cat on her hand, they are fairly sure that he had Feline Leukemia he wasn't doing well and she's got several other cats. The bite got infected rather quickly and spread up her arm. That resulted in a 3 day hospital stay, but doing better now, him not so good he was euthanized.  If I had my druthers I'd rather be bitten by a dog than a cat, their little mouths harbor all sorts of bacteria. Although I have been bitten by a dog and my hands blew up like two Goodyear blimps, it didn't travel up my arms! Ahhhh, maybe not getting bit period would be the best thing. hahahaha

Then Nadia's limbs didn't fair very well in the bake off. Needless to say I really wasn't that fond of them anyway so maybe it was for the best or my subconscious, I didn't like her flat feet. LOL No matter I found the perfect limbs for her and I really have to admit that I like them much better! You will never guess who's limbs! They are BB "Joey" limbs I couldn't believe my luck. So I went back to work and she's got beautiful blue Masterpiece eyes "Stormy" that work so well with her bi-racial skin tones. I can't wait to start rooting her hair. I am going to use my "Black/brown" kid mohair from TNGUN for her. It has a slight wave to it so I think it will be really nice.

I promised updates:

WIP Nadia and Fraternal twins

It's been a heck of a month for April, as the Bible says we won't know one season from the next. Well it has been true. Hot one day frost the next, just pray that May is a little gentler, it would be my hubby's 68 birthday! We survived a tornado touch down that was barely over a mile away. I felt and still feel so blessed and sorry for those hit by it, it just seemed to choose a street and demolished it. The true blessing is no one was killed. Some injuries of course. The only casualty was a line repairman, he was electrocuted the next day trying to restore power to the community. We didn't lose power, but there was dimming. The thunderstorms that followed were powerful. Last year we were dealing with a drought and this year possible floods. LOL to keep from crying, but we're still here me and my babies. I think a lot about my husband especially at times like these. Just don't know what to say anymore, I just know that he's safe now. Just be very careful wherever you are. Anyway on to more positive things, what I have been working on!

Nadia (1st Peep) is coming along! I have been playing with her skin tones and I think that she's going to be beautiful if I may say so myself! I am using bi-racial skin tones and she's developing a beautiful light honey colored flavor! I will be showing pics of her soon! Promise!

Twins Tavis and Tavia are in progress and I would love to show their progress, but I don't  want to mess up because I am trying a new process, a very long process, but truly seems worth the effort.

LOL I will tell you this, that they are going to be Caucasian preemies. The kits are actually twins by Jackie Gwin (Angie and Cody), they are just adorable! I am dying to finish them!!! I put in his eyes so it won't look so weird and if you didn't know...I LOVE REBORNING PREEMIES and no I don't really know why. I think that I just love how tiny and delicate they look, but in reality they can be true little warriors.

Great news Paris and Raven did make it to France to their new mommy!!! I am slowly cleaning out the nursery so that I have some place for the new babies. Hopefully Jiselle and Jenelle are as lucky, I had them on eBay for five days! Poor little Jai-Lin, been on eBay twice now, just won't budge, many watchers though. I will just hold off on her for a little while longer, just wasn't her time.

Anyhoo, have a wonderful and blessed day! Pictures coming soon!
