Well baby has a name...meet

Jameelah!

She's not finished yet, so she will definitely be a New Year baby! I have to glue in her hair and fine tune a few things but I think that she came out wonderful! I still have to put her all together, but I needed to take photos of her so she's just kinda together. LOL I just love doing these tiny ones, I don't know why but it's just something about them. Her hair is gorgeous! I didn't go wrong getting her hair from TNGN (Deb) it's the color I want and just as soft as it can be! I love the fact that she lets you know what clip and what the name of the goat is and if the hair is kid or yearling. I even like how she prepares it, you know the cut end without a doubt. Anyway enough jabbering.

tried a little hair painting for the baby fine hair
added spit bubbles, removed the one on the far left, a little over-kill
we've got beautiful hair!
This one was taken with my cellphone so it's a little blurry

Ohhh, ohhh Cameron named Jamie is now living in England with his new mommy and nani, this is some of what she had to say:
:) we are all very happy amazed with Jamie he's amazing feels real, looks real you did a brilliant job !! My daughter very pleased with him we all are. Me and my daughter cried lol so thank you very much
After seeing someone on FB, she is also interested in can you guess? Yes, Jameelah as Jamie's baby sister, so much for the update, well I've got to get back to work!

The day or so after Christmas...

Well, I cooked all day Christmas eve and my back was killing me! LOL I just didn't want to do it all on Christmas. Glad I didn't, I made it through, think I got carried away though. We had too much food but I wanted to be sure it was enough. Ham, Chicken with dressing, Talapia, duck, pulled beef and pork, greens, green beans with sausage and mushrooms, mac and cheese, hors d'avors (:o) and other desserts. Family came over and it was a very nice day and everything turned out well. We pulled for gifts which was wonderful for me, I wasn't in a shopping mood for presents. We played games and I felt better but still, I knew someone was missing and nobody mentions him. I have my new saying that when I get really low, I say to myself I am lonely, but I am not alone". I have read two of my five books on working through grief and they have helped me realize that I am not going crazy. I am different and I will never be the same. I still long for him (my hubby) but I also understand that he is so much better off, no pain, no suffering and no being stuck with needles or dealing with aching bones to keep him up at night. Still...
For you animal (fur kid) lovers
Since I didn't do it last Christmas for obvious reasons I wanted to share Lil D opening her own Christmas. I did it year before, when we didn't think or know that she would do it to our surprise. So I gave her, her gift and sure enough, well see for yourself!

Update on "Anna" by Pat Moulton sculpt

With the holidays coming so soon again, I had to do something to keep my mind from running. So I have kept busy. "Anna" is coming along beautifully. I love her coloring and just adore her tinyness! Did I say I love doing preemies? She has had so many ultra thin layers (I actually lost count) of GHSP to achieve her very life-like coloring it's like she really is coming alive. Her little tummy plate is da bomb! I am so looking forward to getting her hair from TNGUN and getting her rooted! That is once I finish her beautiful baby skin tones. I don't think she'll have a Christmas birthday that's for sure.
I am leaning towards Leila  for her name, but I just want to let it simmer before I really decide. She has such delicate features like a little rose petal. She's still up for a few more layers and a very special name search! I almost want to keep her for myself! LOL So here's anothet peak.

Ohhhh and my "Lex" baby by Natali Blick (Doll Dreams) is coming along well too.
Here's what his sculpt looks like, of course, mine doesn't have eyes yet. LOL

His caucasian skin tones are finally evolving so I'll have pictures of him soon! He's just the cutest sculpt. Don't want him feeling slighted, because he really is! I love how you see just a little bit of his tongue, it gives him such personality. Since I finished my guitar lessons until February, I have no excuse! Look for more updates on Lex soon too!

Anna Sculpt in need of a name!

I am feeling more inspired with this one! I think that she is coming out awesome! Don't ask how many layers she's gotten since I started on her. Light umber, Flesh 2, red and a hint of blue

I think her tummy plate is becoming a good match

but...she's still got a way's to go, which  is good while I wait on her hair from Deb of TNGUN. I have selected a cute little WILBETH outfit for her. Now I really need a name for her.

Bountiful Baby has a new preemie kit by Pat Moulton "ANNA"

Cameron goes to LONDON and gets a new name!

I am so excited to say that Cameron nka Jamie found a home and it's in London, England! After he didn't make reserve I decided that I'd just wait until after New Years because I liked holding him anyway! He just had the most lovable face. However, a nice lady started emailing me about him 500 emails (literally, she was using her iphone) and the rest is history. He is on his way to his new home and new mommy! I mailed him express so that he should make it there just before Christmas. Now I have to nailbite until Jamie gets there and that they hit it off together.

It's been really hard with the holidays coming up. I try to keep busy, but I can't keep going 24/7. I have learned that in a year. My life is never going to be the same, I have accepted that. Still don't sleep well. Finally made myself get started again so went with this new sculpt. I started work on a new sculpt Anna (soon to have a name change?) by Pat Moulton  for Bountiful Baby. She is just the cutest little thing! Another preemie, I just so enjoy reborning them. IMPO, I really believe that she's going to be gorgeous.

She's 17 inches has adorable features of an african-American baby. The new BB Vinyl takes getting used to.
I had to start matching her soon to be tummy plate and so I did several thin washes of green to neutralize it and lavender wash to her parts. I wish the feet had a little more detail but it's a minor stepping stone. I just love her face and can't wait to finish her. I hope before Christmas, waiting on some kid mohair from Deb from TNGU Nursery. It's going to be perfect for her.  I may even enter her in BB prototype contest for the heck of it.
Here she is with her second lavender wash and working on her lips. I have a baby portrait photo that I am just in love with it's what I am using as a guide to attain her skintone coloring. I learned to start with the lips and work my way out with the preemies. Don't ask, I just do.

Maybe I'll get lucky and  find a home for little fugly "Jeffery" and the twins; Paris and Raven!  Well I will try to keep you updated on her progress. From my heart to yours... Hugs, Judie

Stinker is now Jeffery!

Well, I have been absent once again. :o( Still trying to get back in the saddle, but these holidays are killing me. Don't quite remember last year around this time. I have been busy, I finally painted the last room on the right, so I have finished the house...LOL now maybe I will get a bit more busy painting the babies!
I am happy to admit that I did finally complete "Stinker" now known as Jeffery and he took forever to root. His head is nearly big as mine! I think that he truly turned out cute in spite of himself! He has had his photo shoot, quite a difficult one because he's not (let's face it) the most photogenic, but he does grow on you. Didn't see any kind of girl in him so I even made him a little booboo over his eye cause he's ALL boy and very mischievous.

As you  can see a very rambunctious little boy that you have to keep an eye on or he gets into everything!

He has human hair that has a coarse texture that works well with him and his age. I can't corn row hair so I did the next best thing! Everyone seems to think that it is so that's a plus. Now a few more inspections and he's going to join Cameron on eBay. Yes, I had to relist him, I just can't see giving them away, but it is just seems to be the way that it's going for some of us, so sad that beautiful babies go for little of nothing. I got some more kits to work on besides the ones I have in stock. Well no matter there's always hope. Mentioning hope.

I put out part of the Christmas lights, hopefully I can work up the energy and put some on the house. I really wanted to get a lot more babies out but time just keeps running out so I have to work with what I have for Christmas.
