Custom baby makes it home!

I know that you have been waiting like forever to see this mystery baby! Life continues to dish out lemons so I keep trying to make lemonade. The new puppy had to have his baby fangs removed by the vet and I have seen a lot of puppy teeth but never with roots! I'm sure his gums are pretty darn sore because it was not easy getting them out. He's a baby so he's taking it in stride. A routine maintenance check on the the garage door went from $69.00 to $384.00 and it's been like this for one thing or another. Had to find a replacement latch for the patio door. There was no replacing the handle...grrrr and I wasn't about to replace the door to do it either! LOLROTF  Then the garage door keypad went out, got it working but went on and had a new one installed...yet...another story. Just little knat things that drives me nuts. Anyway, let me stop complaining and share the baby as promised!

I'm so pleased on how well she turned out! Her likeness was so incredibly on target that it was scary! I thought that I would never get all that hair rooted. Her mom even liked the color! I did textured skin, not that I like the feel of it but I do like the look of it. I hand rooted her eyelashes to make sure they were a perfect match.
I got her mom's permission and here she is:

and she loved her little dress, she loves dragonflies and thinks of her daughter when she sees them! Well enough, I will let her mom speak for herself!
I got my baby girl this morning! I love her! You did an amazing job! God has blessed you with such a talent and I'm glad you are using it! I'm at a loss for words right now but the time and effort you put into your babies is undeniable!! Thanks for all the goodies! And the dress alone brought me to tea rs let alone her precious face! I will be ordering 2 more in the near future I would also like to have one of my oldest daughter and my son! You are just incredibly blessed and talented in your work! (: May God bless you for your kindness always! Love you so much for gifting me with such a blessing! Every
detail is breath taking!!
Yes, believe it or not that is BB's "Aubrey by Denise Pratt. How weird is that! I hope that you felt it was worth the wait! I have Cecilia all painted so I am going to finish her and root with TNGUN's gorgeous mohair and I'll be posting her a lot sooner! LOL

Happy 4th of July

Wow, can't believe it's been almost a month since my last post! I hope that everyone had a fabulous 4th. I stayed home with my little family to watch the house. It has been so hot here, with no rain until tonight (not even a good soaker, just enough to make it more miserable tomorrow), the humidity has been to say the least, painfully hot. I had hoped that my neighbors would have taken heed to the request of not using fireworks because it has been so dry. That was a wasted wish.

I have continued working feveriously but slowly on this memory baby. I just wish I could show YOU! I finished rooting her hair. I did skin texture as well, still has a roughness to it, but it's not too bad. I will post pics if it's okay with mom after she receives her. My exciting news is she (mom) had a special request and I found exactly what I needed to make her wish come true! So while the glue sets in her head, I will be working on that project! I am soooooo excited in how everything is coming together. Did I say I was excited? LOLROTF This baby I really think is going to shake up some hearts. I just hope in a positive way, because it is almost an on point ringer.

I got some really cute little things for the babies, as if I needed more baby things, but I just couldn't resist. I'll have to take piccies. They are just too adorable, lots of pokiedots! hahahaaha

Little Lelei got his first puppy cut. Man that took some getting used to, but he was happy so that's all that matters. He doesn't lie on the air registers now. He constantly torments Lil D, typical little boy. I wish I could take them for a ride in their stroller, as much as they love it, just too hot for them in that. Weird ain't it, he looks all grown up with this cut. I am going to have to see a teddybear cut so that I can work on how it's done.
The other good thing my friend gave me a carseat for Lelei now he can ride in his very own. LOL Have to connect it to the seat a little differently and then we'll pile in the car and go for a ride, Lil D, Little Lelei and me. Little monster boy...man we miss the quite...

Last month...I forgot to post this..oh well

June was not user friendly at all. Guess it was to much to deal with, so to bring you up to date, I will just post it...a month later. Don't know what happened that it was saved as a draft. LOL

It has been a horrendous last week. Not all bad but just as nerve frazzling! Monday no TV, phone or Internet service, I misplaced a money order, thought I made confetti of it in the shredder. Thank God I hadn't, found it still in the copier. Tuesday ran a few errands finally get everything I went after and decide to make one more stop, big mistake. A little old lady plows in the back of my (husband's) car while it was parked and I was in the store shopping. That hurt me so bad, but thank God she has insurance and they are going to fix it.Wednesday my next door neighbor's garage went up in smoke, their car caught on fire and I was still having service problems, but finally got it all straight that evening. Thursday,  they knock out my TV again working on my next door neighbor's service. Grrrrrr! Nobody ever does anything wrong, but it always ends up being in the box that they work on everybodies connected service. Go figure? Then Friday I took the photos of the fire to my next door neighbor after they wouldn't go through email, leave the babies in the backyard for about 10 minutes, come back ...uhhhh where is Lelei? Call him, after searching the very wide open yard and thinking the worst, because he's nowhere to be seen and Lil D could care less. Wow, he's still got his little stitches (got neutered last week), positive thought he's micro chipped...didn't work. I go tearing out the front door and who's on the front porch? Didn't know if I wanted to kiss him or fan his little fanny! None the less we were happy to see each other. Lil D...had other thoughts LOL
For the really good news:
My memory baby is starting to evolve, with everything that was happening last week. I am working on her even more slowly than normally. I am really liking her skin tones leaning more towards the P & C look right now. I have the perfect mohair ready for rooting and I think that her lip shades are just right...but time will tell.

Lil D and Lelei are doing better and really enjoy their double ride! LOL I have to do updates so that you can see her better too.

Well here they are standing / lying side by side. This is close as it gets right now. LOL
Well gotta go to sleep, we have to get up early to get those stitches out!

Ride 4 two

Well lookie what I found!!!
I can't wait until it gets here! I paid less for this than for Lil D's single! LOL Go figure. No matter when I can figure out how to put the "boys" in her's I will use it to transport them unless I take her somewhere, just us girls! LOL This one is bigger than hers (of course), so both can stretch out and it's supposed to be just as easy to handle, we'll see. They detach and can be used as a carrier. It will be his car seat as well. Glad that he's not the type to get car sick. They are getting along a little better. He wants to shadow her and she still wants him to disappear, but without teeth showing! LOLROTF

Next week, he gets neutered and he's lost one of his baby fangs (Thank God). It's like being attacked by little teeny tiny needles. I took both of them with me when she went for her final checkup yesterday and got an excellent report. She has about 90% of her muscle mass in that leg and she has done so well that he said let her do what she wants! YEAAAAHHHH!!! The problem with handling two now, Uggggh. She wants to be carried and he want's to tie you up in his leash. Thus, how the upper idea came into play. Funny, when I was looking for hers couldn't find hardly any, now you get a whole page of suppliers! Again, go figure.

The good thing, now I can focus on my babies again, I am biting at the bit to get started on the memory baby. She's had her bath and is all ready to go. Just have to check on some light brown hair if I don't have any left...TNGUN here I come again! Well off to see if I can setup my boutique page on my website! Wish me luck!!
