Playing catch up everywhere! First things first!

Mind you my nursery is getting smaller and smaller! lol I finally got motivated and re-furbished two doll cradles that my sister "insisted" that I needed from one of her many finds. The cradles were in bad shape and I wasn't really interested in them but I gave it a go! I forgot to take a "before" photo of the larger one so use your imagination, just imagine the little one 10 X's bigger and a little darker and not quite as bad looking. I am still finessing the larger one which has a "Mickey Mouse" theme and the little one which is completed has the "Pooh Bear" theme. Here's the small one Before:

My new camera

I have been using a camera that I really like which is the Olympus SP-550 UZ, 7.1 mega pixel, zoom 18x optical + 5.6x digital, 2.5” (6.4cm) color LCD display, 4.68 – 84.24mm (28 – 504mm equivalent in 35mm photography) it has great distance, and wonderful for the dolls. It has lots more but I have been wanting a digital SLR, like forever. I finally bit the bullet and got me a Nikon D3000 10.2- mega pixel, 3"color LCD display, the lens that it comes with the distance is only 3x 18-55mm Zoom but a very light weight NIKKOR VR Image Stabilization Lens, it has split-second shutter response which I love because my lil puppy now two years old, clears out when she see my Olympus and I was always getting her tail or nothing but where she was (a lot of nothing of where she used to be) because of it's slow response. Anyway here's my little girl as a baby and now a teenager!!! I can't wait to see how it works on my "reborns"!

Website up and running!

I finally got it done! My website is up and running! I still have a little more to do but I hope that you enjoy it, and please don't forget to sign my guestbook to let me know that you were there! Natalie of Reborn Websites did a wonderful job designing my site!

My New website is under construction!

Urrrrggggggggggggggggggghhhh!!!! I am so behind but I am happy to say that I am beginning to see the light, or a light or some one's penlight, but a light nevertheless! I miss doing my babies and grouping!

It has been a nightmare (as usual). I taught myself how to do the HTML on the pages, but sizing this and tables for that...yadayadayah NO CLUE. I just wasted money buying a program that was "supposed" to make that easy with "drag N'drop"...yeah so they said! lolrothf I stopped (babies, forums) everything fooling with this bright idea for several months and finally it hit me, lets say that I had a revelation...I don't like designing (or in my case trying to design) WEBSITES!!! DUHHHHH I can now truly say this with great honesty, even though I continued to try being too stubborn to give up. lolrothf It is like reborning you have to love it, I didn't, I don't! That is definitely NOT my thing!

Why did I want to change? To start, this new one is my third "I need a change" website since 2005. The previous two were both done in lavender and seemed more oriented to girl babies. My nursery was re-done in peach with splashes of lavender and I needed a new color website change for 2010! So, the website has been completely redone in peach (thank you, thank you and God Blessy you Natalie), but it may depend on your computer as to what color it looks like (it ain't orange baby) lol and I think, represents both sexes. Now don't get excited...in a couple of years...you might see those lavender pages again!

I have been working feverishly and literally day and night getting my new website put together since I "had it customized". I really love it, I owe so much thanks to Natalie of Reborn Websets! Very pleasant, easy to work with, just a wonderful and understanding lady, an angel in disguise!

HAPPY NEW YEAR 2010

First and foremost, I want to thank all of my clients for adopting from Love Is Forever Nursery! I look forward to meeting more adoptive parents in 2010! I sincerely hope that you had a wonderful Christmas and have a very blessed and HAPPY NEW YEAR!


I cooked dinner and had a wonderful Christmas with my family in spite of my falling in my driveway Christmas evening. I ended up getting my hand xrayed and placed in a splint to support it. It has slowed down my baby making considerably. Thank God it was in 2009, Thank God! Still brought in the New Year quite but nice with my hubby, pup and bird sons, so that was special!

I had previously painted "tiny one" by Kymberli Durden. She's a 10 inch sculpt, of which I was completely glad of, however she's taking me 3 days to root her tiny head and I'm only half way done, a painfully slow process (My husband says I just have to be doing something. lolrothf). I'll be posting pictures of her soon, I think that she is coming out absolutely adorable! Have to decide on her eye color. She has in temporary eyes right now

Now for the good news! Remember little Nani (Samiah by Tamie Yarie)? Well, she went on a lonnnnnnggggg trip and now this little sweetie has a new mommy in Switzerland! Her mommy just sent a very sweet email that I want to share!

today, it is already evening here,I have to start cooking with our dinner, today
we make a speciality from Switzerland,called Fondue chinoîse, with very thin
filet meat leaves in a hot bouillon and with many different dips like garlic
cream,curry cream,spices,cocktail cream, and more,yummy.....
